Company

Since its founding in 1993 by Keith and James Hartley in Sheffield, the company has been dedicated to producing only the finest quality tungsten carbide inserts supplying manufacturers and repairers of surgical instruments around the world.

With growth came new opportunities — a move to Chesterfield in 2000 and an expansion in 2016 — and Serrations continues to be regarded as a leading producer of tungsten carbide inserts for surgical instruments.

James Hartley, along with his experienced team, is proud to carry on the traditions of quality and service overseeing the company’s progression from strength to strength.

Quality

Only the highest quality, responsibly sourced tungsten carbide is used for the production of the inserts and rasps.

The needle holder inserts are available in either cobalt (the default grade) or nickel bound tungsten carbide. Please ask for details of these grades.

Material certificates can be provided with each order and our statement on Conflict Minerals is available on request.
